The weather pattern will remain stuck this week in a generally benign regime.? Weak disturbances in a southwest upper level wind flow will allow for a few hit or miss showers and storms starting tomorrow and going through the weekend.? Because these disturbances will be so discrete and weak?it?s hard to pinpoint exact timing and location for rain this week?but overall chances remain near 20% with any showers lasting just a brief time.? In short, we can?t guarantee a rain-free rest of the week, but we certainly do anticipate a washout any day Wednesday through Sunday.
Otherwise, it will be warm & humid for the rest of the week.? We?ll start out each day with low clouds, but by early afternoon the clouds should break apart just enough to let in a few peeks of sun.? Breezy south winds will also keep up for the next week.
By Monday, the large storm system, which has been and will be hanging out over the western United States, will finally get a move on toward the east.? It is still forecast to be a slow-moving system but as it moves closer to Texas, we expect increasing chances of thunderstorms next week.? More than likely each day will see a storms fire along the dry line in West Texas and move east during the evening into North Texas.? There will also be enough wind shear in the atmosphere next week for severe weather and it possible that at least parts of North Texas will look for several rounds of strong thunderstorm activity Tuesday thru Friday next week.
